Enjoy a beautiful run on mostly dirt roads in the scenic Flinthills just outside of Manhattan, Kansas! The Marathon consists of one 26.2 mile loop around the course offering 4 aid stations along the course. The 50 miler consists of two 25 mile loops with 5 aid stations each loop. This is the area’s first Ultramarathon and first trail Marathon. Come be a part of the challenging course with over 1500 feet of elevation change per loop.
Every finisher will receive a finishers belt buckle with the race on them. Each belt buckle will have the specific race. These unique buckles can be worn proudly with any belt.
Pounding the pavement is great and all, but there’s something to be said for single track. And at Randolph State Park, just a little ways north of Manhattan, Kansas, you’ll find some of the best (and most technical) single track trails in the MHK area. The fall colors and panoramic views of Tuttle Creek Lake and the Flint Hills make for a perfectly lovely romp through the woods. But with roller coaster hills, dizzying switchbacks, and sometimes rocky footing, it’s no walk in the park… and Randolph will try its best to take its revenge.
All entrants receive a soft-style long sleeve t-shirt, and all finishers get a Randolph’s Revenge tall boy pint glass… and yep, we’ll have plenty of cold drinks at the finish line to fill ’em up. We’ll also have a post-race brunch for runners: biscuits ‘n gravy, Varsity Donuts, and fresh fruit.
